As I am sure most of you are already aware, the story of Solace has been discontinued. It did not receive much attention, and between school and work I will no longer have the time required to spend on quality story making with the Sims. I realize that this is a disappointment for you; it is for me as well. I appreciate all of the support that you have given me and hope for your understanding.

Episode III: Shadow of the Limelight has at last come to a conclusion with the new release of its final part, Chapter VI: Home.

All of this episode’s links are now fully updated.

The Solace wallpapers will be available to download next week. An estimated release date for the Writer’s Guide, which will be a useful resource for story creators, will be announced in February.

The first chapter of Episode III: Shadow of the Limelight is available!

It is quite a lengthy episode, so I have divided it up into six parts. Currently, the links to the remaining chapters are unavailable, since they have not been released yet. This will be updated each time I release a new chapter.

This is an unused cover picture. Episode III is in black and white. Here, Lily is near a lamp or a fire, and not only is it casting light onto her face, but it’s also casting color.

UPDATE (Nov. 14th):

I’m sure you have all been wondering when I will post episode 3. I am working on it, but it is taking much longer than expected. Once you see it, you will understand why. I am doing a lot more editing than I usually do. It’s turning out splendidly, though. The style really sets the mood for the story.

The delay, as you know, is also due to the fact that December marks the end of the semester for my college courses. This means everything is due at once. In fact, last night (it is morning now, isn’t it?) I pulled an all-nighter because I have a massive paper due tonight by midnight. So that should be interesting.

But enough about me. You want to hear about Solace! Well, I don’t want to give too much away, but episode 3 will be very different from the previous episodes. When I do manage to finish it, I hope you will find that it was worth the wait.

I have some news concerning the upcoming episode for Solace.

It will most likely be a couple days late this week. I hate to delay it, but with the end of this semester nearing, I need to concentrate on my final projects. To add to that, I have been feeling under the weather as of late. Thankfully, the winter break starting in December should free up my schedule quite a bit.

I do have some good news. I just added a number of profiles to the Characters section of Solace, so be sure to check them out!

I also have plans in the making for a new story! It will be completely separate and very different from Solace. It’s a non-episodic story that I will post all at once when it is completed, so that readers can view it from start to finish without wait. I will provide a brief preview on the official Sims 3 website upon release.
